I have had the good fortune to have visited Indonesia numerous times over the past 20 years. Indeed, images of Indonesian coral reefs are plastered all over this website (at many points in a manner that would be nearly impossible to know to the untrained eye). Since the images are in disparate locations, I am providing a “road map” here of where to find them:
Bali+Lembongan/Penida (2005, 2009, and 2019 [TBD])
Komodo National Park (see dive site images to the left; also see the Flores links above.)
Lombok (January 2019)
Maluku (March 2018; all of my cameras had been destroyed by the time I made my second trip in Oct. 2018)
Raja Ampat, Papua (spread out over multiple pages here [first leg], here [second leg], and here [third leg], with the link for the “best of” found to the left of this page)
Sulawesi: 2018 trip here, with a few photos from my 2005 trip to Bunaken (northern Sulawesi; unfortunately topside only as I did not have an underwater camera back then)
Sumatra: 2005 (although I swear I took pictures, I can’t find them, and, after all, I was only there a few days)
To-be-visited in the future
Forgotten Islands of Nusa Tenggara and Maluku, Java, Kalimantan, Sumatra (properly done)
