Smooth sailing to Chagos from Male, Maldives.

CAUVIN BANK (“Ca;” 2015-03-09)

Only one site was surveyed at Cauvin Bank (BiCa01) and neither P. acuta/P. damicornis nor Seriatopora spp. were present.

BiCa01 (2015-03-09)

EGMONT (“Eg;” 2015-03-10 and 03-11)

Two days were spent surveying the reefs of Egmont, and six sites were visited (BiEg02-07). Seriatoporids were only observed at and sampled from BiEg06 (a leeward backreef).

BiEg02 (2015-03-10) Neither P. acuta nor P. damicornis observed; sampled P. verrucosa-like colonies only (for a collaborator).

BiEg06 (2015-03-11) Both P. acuta (ChPd01-04) and Seriatopora spp. (ChSe01-02) were observed at and sampled from this site. Please note that the site codes all begin with “Bi” for BIOT, whereas my sample codes begin with “Ch” for Chagos.
